Course info
There has been an increase in the range of career opportunities in the field of performance analysis in recent years in the UK, fed by the increased demand for analysts by National Governing Bodies, satellite and terrestrial TV companies, soccer clubs, rugby clubs, Welsh Institute of Sport, the English Institutes (regional centres) of Sport. This programme, the first postgraduate degree in Performance Analysis in the world, is designed to meet the growing demand for performance analysis, by preparing skilled and experienced analysts with sound scientific principles as bases for their work. UWIC has a unique Centre of Performance Analysis and leads the world in this field. The programme aims to develop analysts who understand the theory behind their analyses, an experience of elite performance, the coaching process and feedback to enable them to apply their knowledge and skills to a variety of contexts. As such, the programme aims to prepare students for a range of analysis careers in the sports industry, particularly work which takes place with elite performers.

How much will it cost?
Full-time/Part-time: £3168/£355 per module. Students can pay in full or in five equal instalments: One instalment is required at enrolment and four further payments on a monthly basis between October and January.

Assessment method
The assessment is a rich mixture of practical evidence of absorbing the content, embracing presentations, edited video, experimental essays, reports, critical reviews and an exam.

Entry Requirements
Upper second degree (2:1) and evidence of having studied Performance Analysis.
