Course info
You will be encouraged to evaluate and develop existing photographic practice in the context of key theoretical, historical and aesthetic debates. The course philosophy attempts to explore traditional definitions of documentary photography and embrace a wide range of contemporary practices from photojournalism to fine art, enabling you to think critically about your own work within the broad range of issues raised within contemporary culture. You will benefit from the professional quality photographic facilities on offer and enjoy contact with prominent photographers and writers on the subject through the close association with the Centre for Photographic Research based at the University.

How much will it cost?
Full-time £3,470 Part-time £770 for modules 1,2 & 3 plus £ 1,155 for module 4

Entry Requirements
A good honours degree in Photography or an Art and Design subject. Experience of professional practice will also be taken into account when assessing an applicant's suitability for entry.
